Bouquet with Pansies original oil painting is painted with a palette knife and a brush and is 100% hand-made. I enjoy the delicate beauty of pansies, the flowers with almost heart-shaped, overlapping petals in bright colors or bi-colors. They like cooler temperatures and tend to fade and die when the weather gets hot. It is hot outside so far and I cut these last flowers and placed them in water. The small white groundcover just came off the steam when I transplanted the plant and I added it to the bouquet as a highlight. This composition looked gentle and mysterious on a black background and I tried to convey it in the painting. All sides are painted. The signature is available on the front and back of the painting.
