Mad Hatter original oil painting is painted with a palette knife and a brush and is 100% hand painted. The Hatter is a fictional character in Lewis Carroll's 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
This is my own vision of the Hatter, who attended the tea party with the March Hare.
I imagine him as a teen-age boy with a smooth skin and widely open eyes with some madness in them. His slim figure doesn't correspond with his large head and puffy face. He has slightly protruded forward upper teeth, that stand out when speaking. He wears a colorful outfit, mismatched clothing, including a coat punctuated with patches, a large hat with a tag and price label, as well as eccentric behavior. He is eccentric and confusing, but ultimately harmless person. He becomes a trusted companion and ally to Alice. He aids her in her journey through Wonderland, providing guidance and support during her adventures.
All sides are painted. The signature is available on the front and back of the painting.
